Behind The Scenes (BTS) video covers everything which makes the production process entertaining.

It includes some of the rare glimpses of the creation process of being it the music, movies or whatever you may not have seen earlier.

The actors joking around, the director revealing some of the hint or his/her stress level and all the other unscripted madness is covered in a behind the scenes video, and your job as a BTS photographer is to capture all of this.

However, you may find all of this a daunting and difficult task to do and so here are some of the tips or tricks that you can follow while you shoot behind the scene videos:

Always be prepared and ready to shoot:

The viewers would love to see how the people at the product function in reality, without any lines or script.

So you as a BTS photographer should always be ready and on your toes looking out for such moments.

Moreover, ensure that you have your camera, camera bag, camera charger and other items required to shoot the video all set in a secure place.


Determine the areas you can access:

If it is possible, then you should try and take a look at the location of the shoot a day before shooting.

Having an awareness of the place can benefit you as you will know the best points to shoot and the areas that you can access.

This will further help you to manage your time efficiently and also to know where you can or cannot physically reach.

So even if you capture shots that seem unusable keep shooting as they do not have to look like a great shot.

Capturing shots in and out of buildings, lit areas and rooms can be difficult.
